Having recently retired from the RCMP at the rank of Superintendent after a 25 year career, I am now venturing into the private sector.  I bring my diverse experience regarding high level investigations inclusive of National and International perspectives, Fraud, Breach of Trust, Gang Enforcement, Harassment investigations, Healthy Workplace Initiatives,  Indigenous relationships and development as well as internal and external stakeholder engagement.  My extensive experience in strategic and tactical operations provided me the opportunity to work and lead teams through heightened security operations including Global Summits, Olympic Games and Prime Minister Protection.

With a strong desire for continuous learning and leading, I have undertaken a host of opportunities to develop myself.  I hold a Masters Degree  in Leadership from Royal Roads University, Certificate in Police Leadership and Management Development from Dalhousie University, as well I am a graduate and mentor to the Credible Leadership Program for BC.  I was able to share my experiences in post secondary facilitation as a past instructor at the Grande Prairie Regional College for Leadership Studies as well as the Bachelor of Law Enforcement Studies through the JIBC at Camosun College in Victoria, BC.  I have extensive training and certifications in Public Safety, Court recognized expert in Cannabis, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Internal Audits, Public Consultation, Interest Based Negotiation,  Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Incident Command System (ICS) 100- 400 as well as Bronze Command for Public Order from the UK.

About Me


 I was born and raised in Victoria, BC. having left in 1993 to join the RCMP.  With over 30 years in law enforcement, with Corrections BC and the RCMP complimented by formal education, life experience and self development, I look forward to utilizing my skills as a consultant to assist your needs.   I enjoyed a very successful career in the RCMP, thanks to support from family and those I had the pleasure to work along side.  

I am very community minded,  active in community sports playing and coaching, having been a Volunteer firefighter and now sit as a Trustee.  I have been on the Board of Directors for a non-profit Women's Shelter as well as giving back as a volunteer for a therapeutic riding society.  

I have worked all over BC, with short stops in Alberta and NWT, allowing myself to learn from diverse cultures, specifically Indigenous communities.  I was recognized by the RCMP, receiving a Commendation for my efforts in building relationships in the First Nation communities I served.
